Best wishes for the new year! Last year, I was on call when 2007 transitioned to 2008. This year, I was fortunate to have the night off. My family and I originally planned to watch the fireworks display, but the plan was canceled due to the blistering cold.

This past year has been a very productive and busy year. Unfortunately, this can sometimes lead to anemic performance on On The Wards. And the upcoming 2009 promises to bring many more responsibilities. For the blog to survive, I will either have to learn to juggle my tasks better or revamp it to be less time-consuming. It will be interesting to see what the new year brings. Happy New Year!
